GYEON Q² MOHS EVO — 4-Year Ceramic Paint Protection

Long-term protection. Incredible gloss. Extreme hydrophobic performance.

Give your vehicle’s paint the protection it deserves with GYEON Q² MOHS EVO, a high-performance ceramic coating designed to provide long-lasting protection, exceptional gloss and powerful hydrophobic properties.

At Divine Detailing, our ceramic coating service is about much more than simply applying a product to your paint. Proper surface preparation is one of the most important parts of any ceramic coating installation, which is why every coating package begins with a thorough exterior wash and paint decontamination before the coating is applied.

The result is a cleaner, smoother and more protected finish that is easier to maintain while enhancing the depth, gloss and appearance of your vehicle’s paint.

Serving Acton, Erin, Halton Hills and surrounding areas with professional mobile ceramic coating services.

What Is Ceramic Coating & What Does It Protect Against?

A ceramic coating is a liquid protective coating that chemically bonds to your vehicle’s paint, creating a durable layer of protection over the finish. Unlike traditional waxes and sealants, ceramic coatings provide long-term protection, chemical resistance and powerful hydrophobic performance, while making your vehicle easier to maintain.

We use GYEON Q² MOHS EVO, a premium ceramic coating with 9H+ hardness, a contact angle greater than 110° and strong pH tolerance. It delivers exceptional gloss and shine while helping protect your paint from:

  • UV exposure and sun fading
  • Chemical staining and mineral deposits
  • Bird droppings and tree sap
  • Road grime, salt and contaminants
  • Industrial and iron fallout
  • General environmental exposure

The coating’s hydrophobic properties help water and contamination release from the surface more easily, making regular washing and maintenance simpler while keeping your vehicle looking cleaner and glossier.

Ceramic coating isn’t a force field against rock chips or deep scratches, but it provides a durable protective barrier against everyday environmental exposure while enhancing your paint and making it easier to maintain.

Who Is Ceramic Coating For?

Ceramic coating is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to protect, preserve and enhance their vehicle’s paint.

It is particularly well suited to:

New Vehicles

Protect your investment from the beginning and maintain that new-car appearance for years to come.

What’s Included With Our Ceramic Coating Package?

A ceramic coating is only as good as the surface underneath it.

That is why we don’t simply wash the vehicle and apply a coating. Our ceramic coating package includes the complete preparation process required to properly prepare your vehicle’s exterior paint for coating.

1. Full Chemical & Contact Decontamination

We begin with a thorough exterior cleaning to remove dirt, road grime and contamination from the vehicle.

The process includes:

Iron Remover

Iron particles from brake dust, road contamination and environmental fallout can become embedded in automotive paint. A dedicated iron remover chemically breaks down these contaminants before the paint is mechanically decontaminated.

Clay Bar Treatment

Washing alone cannot remove every contaminant bonded to your paint. Clay treatment removes remaining bonded contamination and leaves the surface noticeably smoother and cleaner.

Hand Wash

After chemical decontamination, the vehicle receives a careful contact wash to remove remaining dirt and residue.

Thorough Drying

The vehicle is carefully dried using clean, dedicated microfiber drying equipment before moving on to the final preparation stages.

Proper chemical and mechanical decontamination is an important part of preparing automotive paint for a ceramic coating because bonded contamination can interfere with the coating’s ability to properly bond to the surface.

2. Paint Preparation

Once the vehicle has been washed and decontaminated, the paint is prepared specifically for the coating.

The surface is thoroughly cleaned to remove oils, waxes, previous protection and other residues that could interfere with the coating’s ability to properly bond to the paint.

This is one of the most important steps of the entire process.

We want the coating bonding directly to a clean, properly prepared surface — not to whatever wax or residue happened to be left behind from the vehicle’s previous maintenance.

If paint correction is desired or required, it can also be performed as an additional service before coating. This is an excellent opportunity to address swirl marks, oxidation and other paint imperfections before permanently protecting the finish.

3. GYEON Q² MOHS EVO Application

Once the paint has been completely prepared, the GYEON Q² MOHS EVO ceramic coating is carefully applied to the vehicle’s painted surfaces.

The coating is applied methodically, panel by panel, and properly levelled to ensure an even and consistent finish.

This is where all of the preparation comes together.

The result is a high-gloss, highly hydrophobic and durable ceramic coating designed to provide long-term protection for your vehicle’s paint.

4. 12-Hour Initial Cure

After the coating has been installed, the vehicle needs time to properly begin curing.

We require a minimum 12-hour cure period before the vehicle is driven, washed or touched.

During this time, we recommend keeping the vehicle:

  • Out of the rain
  • Out of direct water exposure
  • Unwashed
  • Untouched
  • Stationary whenever possible

Once the initial 12-hour cure period has passed, your vehicle can be driven normally.

Proper maintenance after installation is essential to getting the most out of a ceramic coating. Washing technique, environmental exposure and ongoing maintenance all play an important role in coating longevity.
